Sophia's Decline are an alternative-metal band from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They are a compilation of five artists, all from different parts of the counrty and all with different musical backgrounds.

Clint VanWagner (vocals), combines soft breathy singing with powerful shrieks and screaming to deliver the emotion behing each song. Misty Doughtie (percussion), from Oklahoma, draws on her metal influences as well as hip-hop and tribal persuasions. Jeremiah Griffin (bass), from Missouri, has studied jazz bass and music theory for many years and adds a unique twist to the genre. Cameron Volk (guitar/synths), from North Carolina, and Josh Smith (guitar), from Florida ground and compliment each song with heavy riffs, creative solo-work, and melodic undertones.

Over the last year Sophia's Decline have developed, both as musicians and as people, enabling them to create a sound that is a surprisingly graceful blend of each individual's influences. They are currently in the studio recording a demo, as well as staying busy on the stage.
