On Saturday, July 19th 2008, Bob returns to the Oklahoma Opry, where he first appeared in 2003 during his Nashville Star tour and he does not come alone! A full nine piece band under musical director Kenny Anderson and Opry favorites like Tara Scott and Susan McGee along with very special guest JAMES TOWNSEND will be joining Bob who for the first time ever will present his new program that he is taking to the cruise ships in 2009:

As 2009 marks the 20th anniversary of Garth Brooks´ first album release, Bob celebrates this milestone in country music history with a tribute show to one of his biggest musical influences who has ever since become the fastest selling solo artist in the entertainment industry.
For those, not lucky enough to join Bob & band in person at the Opry, a film crew has been hired to produce a concert video of this memorable evening. Of course, the live audience will be a part of this DVD, which is schedule to be released in spring 2009 and will become available online later this year.
The show is catering to the cruise line industry, as it is meant to be performed onboard some of the biggest cruise ships in the world. It is full of surprises, humor and of course Garth Brooks´ greatest hits.
